Like the politicians say regularly, we have achieved much but there is still much more to be done. We recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of this still developing school that embraces a community that is supportive, enriching and welcoming. It is a Christian community that has Christ at the centre. But it is our style of education, our involving parents as first educators, our holistic approach, our personal mentoring system, and desire for character development forged in the academic rigour that sets us apart from other schools.
A magnificent strength of the College is our families and the community spirit. Time and again I find the generosity of our mums and dads awe inspiring…..seeing at close hand their selfless dedication to their own families, and their generous contributions to the welfare of other families and parents. We see this in the support our families experience when facing difficulties or in the generous involvement of so many who facilitate sporting opportunities and community events. It is this spirit that is at the centre of what we are. It is us, as parents, who must ensure we keep this family spirit alive. We do this by staying involved, by working closely with the school and other parents; these schools add real value, they change lives!
