From the Headmaster

Mabuhay! As many of you know, over the past two weeks, I have had the privilege of attending a conference in Manila. It gathered leaders from schools around the world that share a similar ethos on the very important topic of Character Education.
In many respects, I was reassured of the work that we do at Wollemi. Much of what is considered best practice by world experts, we already do at school. I was also challenged by the non-essential tasks that distract us, as well as by the important things we neglect but should focus on
It was also a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the other Pared schools in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as in Kenya, Taiwan, Manila, Cebu and Iloilo. I am very grateful for the opportunity, particularly to PAREF, our Filipino counterpart, for organising and hosting the conference.
Among other crucial points was the message that character education is at the heart of not just all we do at school but also at home. Not only are we all - parents, teachers and students - engaged in this business but according to world expert on the topic, Dr Thomas Lickona: “The single most powerful tool you have to impact a student’s character is your own character”.
With the season of Lent now upon us, perhaps it is a good time to see what aspects of our character to improve in order to be a better example for those around.
Finally, on behalf of the Roberts family, I would like to express my gratitude for the intense daily prayers you have offered for baby Raphaella Faustina. Please keep them up, and consider adding to your list of daily prayers Lucy Tudehope, Tangara Old Girl and sister to Mr James Tudehope, who is currently hospitalised in an induced coma and whose prognosis is still uncertain. Her family are praying to Montse (see prayer card below).
James Ramos, Headmaster
Deputy's Dispatch

Last week, students from Years 5 to 12 participated in the Culture in Motion program conducted by Redfield Old Boy Isaac Busch. Isaac’s key message emphasised the importance of being truthful to yourself and others, regardless of whom you are interacting with. He stressed that your character should remain consistent whether you are with friends, family, classmates, or teammates.
He highlighted that altering your personality depending on the group you are with can lead to mistruths and deceit, which, over time, may cause stress, anxiety, and low self-worth. In the worst-case scenario, an individual may begin to believe his own falsehoods, leading to a breakdown in character and virtue. Isaac encouraged and challenged our boys to share their struggles with loved ones and people they trust, fostering authenticity and self-honesty.
Following Isaac’s presentation, a select group of students worked collaboratively in year groups to identify key issues and concerns relevant to their grades—such as class unity, peer-to-peer respect and classroom behaviour. Once these issues were identified, each group created a movement—a student-led initiative aimed at improving the identified area of need.
Although I was not directly involved in the group collaboration, I had the opportunity to observe the boys in action. From my observations, I witnessed a strong sense of positivity, productive collaboration, teamwork, and honesty.
The next step in the program will see Isaac presenting the students’ concerns, ideas, and initiatives to the staff. This opportunity will allow teachers to gain insight into the challenges our students face and support them in their efforts to foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and unity.
I look forward to seeing some of these movements in action!
Student in the Spotlight – A Kayaking and Canoeing Superstar in the Making!
For many, kayaking and canoeing are relaxing activities best enjoyed on a peaceful lake or river during the holidays or weekends. But for William C. in Year 5, they are much more than that. William is a dedicated athlete who trains and competes in K1 (kayak), C1 (canoe), C2, and KX (Kayak Cross) at Penrith Whitewater Stadium as a member of the Junior Development Squad.
Despite only taking up the sport 18 months ago, William has quickly demonstrated both enthusiasm and skill, achieving incredible results in competition. His success speaks for itself. In 2024, he competed at the All Schools Carnival in Grafton and the State Championships in Gloucester. In January 2025, he participated in the Age Nationals in Tasmania, producing extraordinary results:
Under 10 – KX 1st, K1 3rd, C1 1st
Under 12 – C2 1st, Downriver 2nd
This month and again in May, William will represent Wollemi at the All Schools Regional and State Championships on the Mann River near Grafton.
On behalf of Wollemi, we congratulate William on his incredible achievements and wish him the best of luck in his upcoming events!
Three of William’s classmates interviewed him about his canoeing and kayaking journey to date.
Who inspired you to learn kayaking? My sister inspired me to learn kayaking when she joined the sport.
What training do you endure to reach where you are now? I had to go through two metal poles and whitewater. I go 4 -5 times a week.”
Who supports you throughout your journey of kayaking? My mum and dad support me.
What was your first race? My first race was in Grafton and I came 3rd (NSW) and the first race I watched was in Canberra.
What was your experience like at the championships? It was extremely challenging but I came first.
Have you had any challenges throughout your kayaking journey? One of my biggest challenges was when I flipped. I had to get out of the boat and I hit my knee on the bottom and I could hardly walk for 3 days.
Do you have any advice for people who want to kayak? Never give up on your dream and you will succeed in kayaking.”

Leadership Spotlight - Primary Leaders 2025

This week I would like to introduce our Primary Leadership Team for 2025.
These 10 students have been elected by their peers to fulfill specific leadership roles within the college. Please have a read about them and learn a little more about each of our wonderful Primary Leaders.
Primary Captain - Lawrence Delos Reyes
Hello my name is Lawrence Delos Reyes. I have 1 little brother in Year 1 and an older sister in Year 8. I came to Wollemi in Year 2 but in Year 1 I wasn’t in Montgrove, so everything was new to me, the teacher, my peers, everything you could think of. But Wollemi was always welcoming and that made me comfortable and confident with this school.
I am the Primary Captain. Dominic (vice) and I think we should serve the other students before ourselves. We also want all students to feel comfortable asking us questions and sharing their ideas with us.
I love to play basketball and one of my goals is to become dux in my class(6G).
We want to fundraise for the school with mufti days, snow cone days etc. Me and Dom's goal is fixing (or renovating) the primary toilet. With all the captains I think we can do it. We also want to make our last impression in Primary look fun so we can do end of term fun days
Primary Vice Captain - Dominic Ruhl
I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters the youngest is Joseph and then Me, Lucia, Clare, Mary, Gus and John-Paul all in age order and then as well as Mum and Dad.
I am the Vice Captain of Primary but I like to think of me and Lawrence (the Captain) as partners no-one higher no-one lower.
I would like to benefit the school and leave it better than the way that I got here including:
Fixing the toilets (if any one lets me get fundraisers for it), get a separate goal for yr5 (if we cant thats ok), mufti/other days and Jersey/cans day.
And most importantly let kids have fun at their time in primary (but not the bad kind of fun). And I would like to help the school in every way possible.
I would like to achieve everyone's respect.

Araluen Captain - Xavier Paris
Hi my name Xavier Paris. I am the Araluen Captain and I am 11 years old. I started here in Year 2 with Mr Bennett as my teacher. Now I am in Year 6 blue with Mr T.
I like the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, and am a big fan of Star Wars and Star Wars lego. I also like to collect rocks and go to antique shops.
I have 3 sisters one older than me and two younger. Evie, Sofia and Gisele. I also have a younger brother named Reuben (who often invades my lego cupboard).
I also live with my auntie Elo and my Mum and Dad.
We have one dog named Remus and 8 chickens ( I won’t mention their names).
As captain I hope to get to know as many fellow Araluens as possible and set a good example. I also aim to get at least one end of year award and to get really good at the clarinet (Year 5 I highly recommend the clarinet).
Araluen Vice Captain - Oscar Baird
Hi, my name is Oscar. My favorite food is pizza, my favourite colour is red and my favorite sport is soccer! I have been at Wollemi for 4 yrs (since yr 2). And even at Montgrove college Before that! Yuck. I have 4 other family members, My Mum and Dad and 2 brothers.
Here at Wollemi I have the role of Araluen vice house captain ( Araluen 4 life). My job is to make you all SUFFER!! No, I'm just kidding, it is to try and make you the best Wollemi man you can be. My plans are to survive school, help everyone else below me and achieve the best I can. To work hard and strive to be the best person I can.
My hobbies are playing with friends, watching TV and reading books. This year I want to pass all my tests and to get a pen license and to master the pen.

Echuca Captain - Joel Leggatt
I am Joel the mighty Echuca house captain. I have 2 sisters and 3 brothers and dad and mum. My story starts in year 2 watching all the captains getting announced at the assembly so that inspired me to be the best captain I could be without a badge - until I was ready for a leadership role in Year 6.
The type of captain I am is a fun, sporty, brave, courageous Captain. The most important of all of them is a leader that shows right from wrong.
My plans for the future this year is to make more sporting events, more mufti days and more coding or chess games like that, to talk with my fellow captains so you guys can have more fun at Wollemi. I’m not a scary monster, I'm friendly, please come up to me, I'm happy to talk to you with any worries at school.
Echuca Vice Captain - Benjamin Restuccia
Hi everyone, my name is Benjamin Restuccia. I am in Year 6 and I am Vice Captain for Echuca. I have been at Wollemi College since I was in Year 2. I loved school when I was in Year 2 with my teacher Mr Baxter. He was the one of the best teachers you could ever have!
I want to make Wollemi College a better school by leading by example, and show others how to be respectful of others and how to become a fine young Wollemi man. I also want to serve the school in some way, like lead Echuca in lots of sporting events, and continue to have Lunch Time Clubs like we currently do.
One of my main goals this year is to be the best leader I can possibly be, and to make Wollemi College the best place it can be!
I hope you all have a great week.

Mundoora Captain - Jayson De Villiers -
We will hear from Jayson in the next Pine!
Mundoora Vice Captain - Simon Llagas
My name is Simon and I'm the Primary Mundoora Vice Captain. Coincidentally, my brother Adam is the Secondary captain of Mundoora. I come from a family of five boys aged 11-23 years old. We also have one guinea pig. Her name is Nugget. Of course, there are my parents and together, that’s the Llagas family.
The sport I enjoy the most is playing soccer, closely followed by futsal. All of my brothers played for Wollemi FC, but this is the first year since 2008 that only one of us has played for the club—that’s me! I also like to spend time with my family, especially on holidays such as skiing and cruises.
In my everyday life, I want to make people happy and feel special. If you see me around and you want to talk to me, I will be happy to have a chat. If you are feeling rather lonely, find me and I will make time to talk with you about things that interest you.
I think Wollemi College is a great school because in general, students are respectful and they keep the school tidy. I will do my best to be a good example especially to the younger students. Please don’t hesitate to remind me if I forget this promise. I hope all the Year 6 students become good examples, too.
I want this year to be the most fun ever by being open to people’s ideas and presenting them to the leaders of primary or Mr Baxter himself. So, what are you waiting for? Talk to me because I cannot wait to hear your brilliant suggestions, whether it be big or small.

Wyuna Captain - Oliver Milosev
Hi my name is Oliver Milosev and I'm the Wyuna captain and I have 3 brothers and 1 sister.
My story is, the first time I got here to Wollemi it felt like I was tiny. When I saw the captains working with little kids, I felt something in me, something I wanted to do when I was in Year six, which is that I wanted to be a Captain and a leader. I worked a lot around my peers doing anything possible to help them.
My plans for the future - I hope that a lot of people remember all of us for being the best primary school leadership team ever! By helping the students to believe in themselves and to be not left out around their friends. I'm not that scary, come up to me and I'll help you, I like playing basketball, rugby and all sports.
Wyuna Vice Captain - Lucas Mackenzie
Hello. My name is Lucas Mackenzie, and I am the Wyuna vice captain. Today I am going to tell you a little bit about myself. I am 11 years old and my birthday is on the 18th of January. I have 2 dogs, Sascha and Bailey, both are border collies and both are very cute.
I come from a very big family (the Mackenzie’s, maybe you know them?), and have always had cousins to play with, but my immediate family really is not that big. It consists of my three older sisters, my two parents, and finally me.
What I really want to tell you about are my plans as Wyuna Captain. When I say this you may think I want Wyuna to always win every sporting event or always have the most house points, but I really, really don’t. Don’t get me wrong that stuff is great, but rather than being the winning team, I want to be the team that is awarded with the best chanters. I want us to have team spirit. And my idea of team spirit is a team who congratulates the other teams even if we lost to them. I want Wyuna to be like a family at school. Thank You.
Captain's Corner

Happiness.
Today I intend to mention something a little bit philosophical; my opinion on how to be happy. There are 3 main steps in Matthias' Plan for Happiness:
Step 1 is something that I mentioned in a previous captain's corner: Live YOUR Life, NOT the life others want you to live.
There was once a very dry summer. A man named Patrick gazed out of his window and noticed his neighbour's lawn, the Collins family's lawn. He was shocked. It was so vividly green, that Patrick couldn’t help feeling ashamed of his backyard, a yellow, dry lawn with patches of bare soil… He made up his mind there and then to revive his lawn by watering it daily and giving his grass special plant food.
After a week, his grass recovered a bit of life and colour, but peering out of his window every morning, he could see his neighbour's lawn was more luscious, green and alive than a football field. He was filled with sorrow and jealousy, and he didn’t like his back garden any more. He gave up on it. The Collins' lawn was going to be greener anyway.
One day, he met Mrs Collins carrying shopping bags from her car to her kitchen. He offered to lend the elderly lady a hand and started taking her bags inside. From the kitchen window, he could see the back yard. Mrs Collins discovered him peering through the window. "What do you think of the lawn?", she questioned. Patrick was silent. She invited him to go out and take a closer look.
Lenten Appeal
We are running a Lenten Appeal, where students can donate money to Caritas Australia, an Australian Catholic agency for development cooperation and humanitarian aid. They have been helping people in poverty for over 60 years.
The boys can donate money for the next TWO WEEKS. It would be awesome if the students could offer up a single McDonald's meal or a couple of dollars that they would like to spend on themselves to make a small sacrifice and give it to people who need the money a lot more than we do. A small sacrifice, a small donation from one of our students, can make a huge difference for someone who lives in poverty. It could be life-changing.
If a class raises $250, they will be able to throw water balloons at any Year 12 student they like! That is just a bit over $10 per student. Hopefully, we can raise a lot of money to help a lot of people.
Student Life
Year 12 Seminar
The class of 2025 went on a seminar in preparation for the HSC. We all stayed at Blue Gum Lodge, which is Springwood way. Many Father and Son camps were held there so that you might be familiar with the place. For myself, this was my third time going, so it was nice to go for one last time.
The seminar had talks with a lot to learn, wisdom jam-packed in: learning how to vote ballots, developing our studying skills, etc. The meals there were great. In fact, it was made better by Lucas Ison's 18th birthday on the first day of the trip. So we were able to spend the whole day with him, celebrating and sharing a cake. In fact, it was amazing.
Another great part of the trip was the sports that many of us were able to play. There was almost every sport under the sun there. There were courts and a very large pool, which fit most of the class, which was impressive.
But we all had to go. We were so upset, and the trip went so quickly! But I would like to especially thank Mr. Johnson for organising the trip and Mr. Weber for joining us. We also had some surprise visits from some teachers that I would also like to thank (Mr. Finn, Mr. Jacobson, and Mr. Ison).
Thank you to the Class of 2025. This was the last of our many trips together that the school has organised for us.
“Finishing strong is an everyday occurrence… It’s not an act; it's a habit.”
Study hard.
Conor Warda Year 12B
Stations of the Cross
We are running The Stations of the Cross every Friday in lent for anyone who would like to join.
It will be at 1:15pm, during lunch on Fridays. All students and teachers are welcome to come and join.
This is a great way to make a small sacrifice and grow closer to Jesus in lent. It is a small sacrifice to give up a lunchtime, but it is a great opportunity to offer up a small mortification for a specific intention. It is very beneficial in preparing for Good Friday which is upcoming.
Staff Focus
My name is Morris Attia, and I have joined the wonderful Wollemi school community this year. Even though I have only been here for the past few weeks, it really does feel like I have been here forever with the great experiences I have had with students, teachers, and parents. I thank you all so much for welcoming me to the Wollemi family.
I am the father of two—a boy and a girl—and will attend Montgrove, our sister school, in a few years. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of a nurturing school environment and the value of strong communication between teachers and families. My family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish the time we spend together. Whether it's enjoying a weekend outing, watching a football game, or simply sharing a meal, I value every moment with them. Being a father has given me a deeper appreciation for the role of family in a child’s growth and development. My family and I are incredibly excited to be part of the Wollemi community in the coming years, especially as my children prepare to start their journey at Montgrove. Knowing they will be part of such a strong and values-driven school environment gives us great confidence and excitement for the future.
I come from St. Mark's Coptic Catholic Church in Prospect, where I serve as a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, and sub-deacon. My faith and involvement in the church community have greatly influenced my approach to teaching and mentoring young people.
Faith is at the heart of everything I do and plays a central role in my life and my family. I strive to live by Jesus' teachings and instil these values in my children, guiding them to grow in faith, kindness, and integrity. Teaching them the way of Christ is one of my greatest responsibilities and joys as a father, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of a school community that shares and upholds these same values.
Some of my interests and hobbies include being a passionate Bulldogs fan and regularly attending football games. Growing up, I was always into football and played for many years as a second-rower for my local football club.
I am truly loving my time at Wollemi so far and feel blessed to be part of such a welcoming and supportive community. I would love to meet as many parents as possible, so please feel free to come and say hello. It will be a pleasure to get to know you and work together in supporting your sons throughout their journey at Wollemi.
Mr. Morris Attia, 5B Class Teacher
Year 3 Father & Son Camp
In Week 4, Year 3 fathers and sons enjoyed an unforgettable camp at Yarramundi, strengthening bonds through faith and adventure.
The weekend began with Mass celebrated by Fr. Anthony, which challenged boys and their dads to focus on what's important all weekend. The Alpine Challenge tested teamwork as teams carried a "wounded" companion through an obstacle course. The Giant Swing pushed fears to the limit—Mr. Alimangohan took on the challenge twice, and we have been told that his screams can still be heard echoing throughout the valley!
Evenings were filled with faith, fellowship, and a few unconfirmed rumblings of cabin parties. Fathers and sons prayed the rosary by the campfire before roasting marshmallows. A delicious Dad’s BBQ, featuring Filipino and Vietnamese meats, was a feast to remember.
Mr. Nathan Dodd’s talk on unity in marriage offered valuable insights, reminding fathers of their role in fostering strong families.
The camp ended with a father and son's letter to mum and a peaceful morning walk to the bamboo forest, closing a weekend of faith, courage, and connection. It was a truly memorable experience for all! Thank you to all the dads, teachers, mentors, and organisers who made this weekend possible.

Plastic Hub Recycling Excursion
The journey to Condell Park to visit the team at Plastic Hub Recycling was truly worthwhile, and I know the boys thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.
Tucked away in the industrial heart of Condell Park, near Bankstown, lies a small but mighty space making a remarkable impact in our consumer-driven world. Plastic Hub Recycling is a dedicated facility where plastics are collected, sorted, and transformed into granulated materials—tiny "cornflake-sized" pieces—ready to be repurposed by manufacturers into new products.
For our students, this visit was eye-opening. Seeing firsthand how plastic waste can be given a second life shifted their perspective on sustainability. They were immersed in the sights, sounds, and even the unique smells of the recycling process, gaining a deeper appreciation for the meticulous effort required to turn waste into opportunity. It reinforced an essential lesson: sustainability is only truly achieved when environmental, social, and economic factors harmonise.
On behalf of Wollemi, our students, and myself, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible team at Plastic Hub Recycling. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel right at home. Their willingness to engage with a small school from out west made a lasting impact, inspiring our students to think critically about the future of plastics and sustainability.
We deeply appreciate their time, professionalism, and passion for their work. The knowledge they shared has sparked curiosity and enthusiasm in our students, showing them that real change is possible.
I thank them again for their hospitality and invaluable insights. We look forward to the possibility of working together again in the future!

Shrove Tuesday "Pancake Day"- WBC Initiative

Shrove Tuesday, affectionately known as Pancake Day, was celebrated with a generous dose of community spirit at Wollemi this year. A dedicated team of volunteers gathered to pack and distribute a whopping 210 servings of pancakes, along with refreshing drinks, to the school's eager students.
The atmosphere was electric with excitement as students lined up, their eyes sparkling with anticipation. Despite the queue, the children waited patiently and cheered each other on, demonstrating remarkable camaraderie and good manners.
The smiles on their faces were priceless, and it was truly heartwarming to see the joy that a simple pancake could bring.
The event was not only a delicious treat for the students but also a valuable opportunity to teach them about the tradition of Shrove Tuesday and its significance in the Christian calendar.
This wasn't just any pancake feast. It was a special fundraiser for the Wollemi Basketball Club, raising $900 for the boys' summer competition gifts.
A huge thank you to our amazing mums. You guys are the best! Thanks for making Shrove Tuesday so special!

The school gates will open at 8:15 a.m., and students are not allowed onto the school premises before this time unless they have co-curricular commitments. If you are dropping your child/children off before 8:15 a.m., please remind them that they are to stay outside the gates until they are opened.
A reminder that when collecting your child/ren, parents can either:
Park their car in the outside car park and walk into the school/pedestrian gate to pick up their child
Use the car line process where your child will come to the car.
To help with the flow of the carline and traffic in the area, we kindly ask that:
If you are using the car line, we ask parents not to exit the car.
Please collect your child/children between 3.25 pm and 3.45 pm when Teacher supervision ends.
This is a reminder to parents NOT to park along Gipps Rd in the afternoon, as it causes congestion and risks the safety of our students.
Car Line Pick-up
The safety and well-being of our students are of paramount importance at Wollemi. As you would appreciate, with the commencement of a new school term, and the continued growth of the school population, the volume of traffic in and around the College has increased during afternoon pick-up. As a result of this, we have taken some measures to improve the parking at the College with the expansion of the overflow car park. To help ensure the effective traffic flow and our Wollemi community's safety, I take this opportunity to remind you of the College’s pick-up procedures.
Main Carpark (inside the College)
1. Entry into the school is via the second gate only.
2. Students are only to be collected in the green pick-up area (see diagram above)
3. The curb by the buildings is set down and pick up only (noted in green) – no parking. Do not alight from the right-hand side of cars in the set-down lane. Please be especially vigilant that children ONLY alight on the left.
4. Please do not double park in the set-down lane; instead, wait for space to become available on the curb.
5. Please remain in your vehicle until your son arrives.
6. When waiting in the carline to collect your son/son, please move to the front of the line or fill any empty space available along the pickup area to ensure traffic flow and maximise space.
Please watch for young students crossing on the pedestrian crossing from the school veranda entrance to the carpark.
Overflow car park (outside the school)
7. Students are only to be collected in the green pickup area (see diagram above)
8. Please Park only in the designated parking bays - as noted in yellow on the diagram
IMPORTANT NOTES
Please ensure your son knows which carpark he will be picked up from in the afternoon.
To further assist with traffic flow and reduce parent wait time in the car line, please remind your sons that they must be watchful for the approach of your vehicle on Gipps Rd so that they can be ready for collection.
We hope these measures will help improve traffic flow within the College, reduce congestion, and ensure student safety. We appreciate that the afternoon pickup period can be busy, and we ask that we continue to be patient and courteous to each other.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
School Student Travel - Information for Parents and Students
School Travel Passes
Applications are now open for 2025 School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS) travel.
Students in the Opal network applying for an Opal card (including a Term Bus Pass) for the first time will receive their School Opal card at their nominated postal address from mid-January 2025.
Students who require a School Opal card or travel pass but have not yet applied need to apply or update their details as soon as possible.
In the Opal network, students should travel with a Child/Youth Opal card until they receive their valid School Opal card. If outside Greater Sydney, parents should contact their local bus operator to discuss their travel needs.
Students living in rural and regional areas will receive their travel pass from their nominated transport operator. It may be issued via their school or be sent directly to them at home. Note: some rural and regional operators do not issue travel passes. Students/parents should confirm with their nominated operator if they do not receive a pass.
Terms of Use
Students using School Opal cards must tap on and tap off in line with the Opal terms of use.
This includes travel within the approved times between 6.30am and 7.00pm from Monday to Friday on school days only. Students must use their Child/Youth Opal card for any travel outside these times.
All students are required to comply with the Student code of conduct. The code of conduct aims to ensure the safety and well-being of school children and other passengers. It is important that parents ensure their child is aware of this, as failure to comply with the code of conduct can result in a suspension from travel.

-3rd Place 50m Backstroke
Congratulations again to all of our athletes for representing our school well at the Hills Zone Swimming Carnival, and best of luck to our swimmers who will be representing us at the CIS swimming carnival!
Secondary Swimming Carnival
It was great to see (and hear!) so many of our secondary students attend the Wollemi Secondary Swimming Carnival three weeks ago.
While the competition for places to attend the Hills Zone Swimming Carnival was at the forefront of a few students’ minds, this didn’t stop our boys from providing amazing support for their mates throughout the day with lots of house colour and noise.
Many great races were run throughout the day, highlighted by our 50m Freestyle final, which featured the a few fastest times of the day, regardless of age.
The house chants created by our house captains were a fantastic way to finish the day.
Congratulations to all of our race winners!
Special thanks must go to the secondary teachers who all played a role in ensuring the day ran safely and smoothly and to Demir Ulusoy who captured the day.
Wollemi Exhibition Game 8 March
An electrifying showdown as the Warriors U16 Div 1 take on the fierce Warhawks U14 Div 1 on Sat 8 March. Great effort by the boys! Though the U16 Warriors took the win, the U14 Warhawks displayed incredible heart and a never-say-die attitude.
