Year 5 students and their dads recently attended their annual Father and Son Camp. Read Charlie's account below!
"Day 1: Our first activity was sports, followed by Mass and a sausage sizzle lunch! We continued playing sports, had some afternoon tea and then went for a bushwalk, with the dads staying back to listen to a talk. We cooked burgers for dinner then went to a grotto to say the rosary. We lit a big bonfire, roasted Jumbo marshmallows, and played murder in the dark, which was super fun!
Day 2: I woke early to start the fire again, and then we had eggs, bacon, and mushrooms for breakfast. Yummy! We then went to mass, played a few more games then said our goodbyes."
Sounds fun, Charlie! Wollemi's Father and Son camps are always a hit, and a great way to foster relationships between teachers, students and their dads.
