Year 10 students spent a week at The Manor Retirement Village for their Service Project, putting up Christmas decorations, helping in the garden and interacting with the residents.
The boys had a great attitude throughout the camp. One of the nursing home employees wrote this to us upon our departure: "Every one of your students behaved impeccably – they are wonderful ambassadors for your school and their families".
Big thank you to Mr Johnson, Mr Capistrano and Mr Quimque for taking them! The aim of the Service Project is to help the boys experience the joy of giving and the smile on their faces on the way back tells us that was mission accomplished. Well done boys!
