Established in 2004 in honour of pioneering cardiac surgeon, Dr Victor Chang, the Victor Chang School Science Awards celebrate gifted students, and stimulate growth in science. The School Science Awards foster and encourage an interest in science among Year 11 students, with the goal of encouraging careers in science as a viable and interesting career path.
Students are nominated by their teachers and schools for their tenacity and commitment to science. This year we congratulate Fouad E. and Matthias S. in receiving the Victor Chang School Science Awards for 2024. The boys were presented their awards at Penrith City Council.
