Late in February 2022, the NSW floods took an especially hard toll on residents of Lismore, as streets and houses all went underwater. In an effort to help, our very own Mahiwal S took the initiative to speak to the Head of Primary, Mr Scott Williamson, asking to run a Blanket and Heater Drive to help the community in Lismore. As a result, students and staff at Wollemi College donated a large number of Blankets, Heaters and money to Support SGL Charitable Organisation to help the Lismore community. What a great initiative by Mahiwal!
